Yorkshire coast

Black and white, bleak and cold. Not exactly an advert for the Yorkshire coast as a holiday destination, but they work for me . And they reinforce my Yorkshire wife's stories of biting cold winds blowing off the North Sea .
Are they wind turbines in the distance in the last one?
Just one little niggle. In the 2nd one, the horizon is tilted to the right, not by much but enough to notice. I don't mind a bit of curvature (well, the earth isn't flat!) but a tilt that would pour the North Sea into the Netherlands ... ?

There really is something about mono, isn't there. The 'bleakness' of the weather so well caught. Excellent work. #3 and the tyre tracks worked especially well for me. As loadoftripe says, a nice set, Graham.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

My favourite by some margin is the second image, though I agree that it needs that sea horizon levelling.
Monochrome is great!
Cheers

Thanks for your comments. Sorry about the horizon, I hadn't noticed the slope!! It is now corrected on my computer.
Monochrome does work well in these circumstances. Yes they are wind turbines on the horizon in the last image.
Best wishes,
Graham

The mono treatment was an attempt to capture the bleak atmosphere! Not a day to sit on the beach.
Thanks again
