Polaroid did this quite some time ago and are still, sort of, around.
It is only slide range which is being discontinued. In fact, their film division was (?is) making money, it was their consumer-grade digital cameras that were loosing money hand over fist. They have been definitively discontinued. Let's hope a stream-lined restructured Kodak will continue to make quality films for a while yet. (That was said with all my digits crossed as I shoot mainly Kodak film these days.)
Kris.
It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Our choices appear to be narrowing quickly.
