Hi, does this have a stop down switch? In other words what stops the lens down when you take a photograph?

DOH!
I forgot to mention, yes it has an A/M switch. And a pin to stop down the lens, which is working.
So you stop down the lens by switching the lens to M, and manually specifying the aperture.
In the case where a switch isn't there, you can easily modify the lens to work solely on manual. I've done this on another lens (non destructive).

Thanks for clarifying that I couldn't see a switch on the photographs and I have a Yashinon DS-M 50mm f/1.7 which doesn't have a switch.

The lens is mechanically superb. Smooth focus and assertive clicks in the aperture rings.
The glass is in great condition with only a few specks of dust, nothing much and not noticeable in photos.
The body does have some paint loss here and there.
I find the lens sharp and having a nice bokeh (still not as nice as my SMC-A), however the lens does not bring anything new to my 50mm F1.7 and F1.4, so its going.
