I did get the price slightly wrong, it should be £139, not £135. Still it is strange that different Asdas charge different prices.
Still, the "New" Jessops, want £220 for it!

Hi, got mine from ASDA 2 days ago , was £185. now on sale at £139. bargain! We have found that even Asda's grogery prices vary from store to store. P.S. x5 no longer seems to be on their web site.

I was thinking of buying one for my wife for her birthday a few weeks ago but decided a small Canon () with an actual viewfinder would be more suitable (based on previous problems with rear screen reflections on a Nikon compact).

However, I noted then that X-5 prices are all over the place - a few weeks ago Amazon were selling them for around £145 but the price then crept up and is now around £185! Maybe they are actually getting more popular with the general public!
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

There is a section of this forum with the overall title of Gallery. Under this you'll find Your Photos.
Best regards, John

I just received the X-5 and find it to be a great camera. I've only taken a few shots with it so far...here are a few of an Osprey taken on top of a telephone pole.

Is there anymore feedback from those who bought the X5? My 10yr old son wants to replace his Panny FZ18 on his birthday with a camera equipped with a tilting screen. By the time we collect up all the birthday money i think he'll be in the frame for the X5. Plus he'll like the fact his camera is the same brand as mine.
My only concerns with the X5 are the low quality screens, both the main LCD and the EVF. How do people find these?

Just noticed that DSLR Hut want £409 for the X5.....hmm that's competitive.
