jup. A 322RC2 is the joysticked ballhead with a standard RC2 release plate (part 200PL14) on it.
I doubt very much that the crowd here have one, and personally i'd bite the bullet and get one from the states. They do pop up on EBay occasionally, but go very expensive very quickly.
Retail is around £70 IIRC; I personally tested one and chose a 222 over it.

yep. The control is more intuitive with the lever in front of you; the size (there's no "stick out bit"), the height addition is very nice indeed and I simply prefer the way the 222 works.
