Yeah, I had seen that, GW cameras (just down the road from me) have them for only £100 more new.

I recommend get brand new GRiii, my one have an issue with back scroll wheel and is fixed now on warranty. I heard about this problem good few times.

it seems to be an issue with a batch of GRIIIs and a cosmetic rather than functional issue?

I think that may well be best, considering even used ones only seem to be around £150 cheaper at the most. Black Friday is coming up next month so hopefully there might be a deal around!

It's not a cosmetic issue, scroll wheel is functionally very helpful.
