Also, the 50-135mm that Derren has may be a good shout. It's an awesome lens (and I don't know why you'd want to avoid it!)

Cheers guys, i had seen the one in srs online, and have messaged them. Cheers
Harris, I know you really like the 50-135mm and rate it really highly.
Tbh I had one a few years ago, and I just did not like it. It may just have been front or back focusing and before i knew how to fine tune af, but I really couldn't see myself going back to it.

I know what i like, If not always why.

I have had 3 Sigma 50-150mms and 4 50-135mms .... It took me a long time but iin the end there could be only one.
Both have their pro's and con's but the IQ of the Pentax lens is just unbeatable IMO.
No equipment list here but thanks for taking an interest. My Flickr

Is that 3 50-135mm
One for each body ?
Or just to be sure to be sure to be sure

It was a period when I really missed the one I sold. Then three different ones came along. I bought them and kept the best one for myself (converted to screwdrive). Sold it recently as I wouldn't use it with the K-1.

Would you not reconsider a 50-135 Derek? Best lens I have for what I would term 'general use', superb optically. I just wonder whether you had a duffer previously?
