Good question, also I would like to know how to get hold of the part you are not interested in, i.e. the rubber flap that fits over the contacts on the base of the camera.

Is this what you are looking for:
http://shop-uk.ricoh-imaging.eu/cap-for-battery-grip-d-bg4.html
The D-BG4 is the grip for the K-5 & K-7, though confusingly that page lists it as compatible with the K200D.

Maybe will be in stock at some point here, and no idea if it fits K5: http://www.microglobe.co.uk/genuine-pentax-bottom-cap-k10d-for-pentax-digital-sl...

I got one for my old K7 (I believe tht is the same one as for the K5) directly from Pentax last year. Most places that list them online never seemed to have any in stock.

Apologies I misread the first post and I am indeed talking about the rubber bit not the plastic bit.

Im after the small plastic cap that fits over the contacts on the actual battery grip, (not the rubber one on the base of the camera) for a k5.
Anyone have any ideas where to get one, or has one spare they would like to sell.
Great forum by the way.
Kind regards,
Simon.
