you may consider a third-party one if you can not find one at a reasonable price. some non-branded lens hood is an exact copy of Pentax genuine one.

Hi guys, thanks for your advise, however, low and behold it's turned up!
So I won't be needing one after all. My daughter had borrowed my camera (without asking of course) and thought she had lost the lens hood, but after stripping out everything from her room we found it in one of her shoes!
Sorry to mess you about but I honestly thought it was gone for ever.
