I'll start the ball rolling. You can have mine for £1500.00 + post and packing.

I think that your price is too high, with that money I can buy a macro lens with a APS-C reflex attached behind.

These are even rarer than the 100-300/4 now, in the second-hand market.
I got mine when Jessops sold their last remaining stock, maybe a little over a year ago, for £429 if I remember correctly . And to think I accidentaly stumbled upon them when I mis-clicked on an old search results page which was still in my "favorites" tab: there they were, 3 of them, right on top of the page (had they been listed at the bottom I may never had seen them).
I think when they come up on Pentaxforums they're usually priced around $1000, but since the last time I saw one I think second-hand prices for the Voigt 125/2.5 and the A*/FA* 200/4 have gone through the stratosphere.
Your best hope now is if Sigma finally release their 150/2.8 OS in Pentax mount, which is supposed to be even better than the 180/3.5

Yes I know, my offer was more than a little tongue in cheek. I doubt I'd actually let you have it, even at my over-inflated price.

With these vastly inflated prices you should buy a canon or nikon and a tamron 180mm macro

I bought this off eBay a couple of weeks back, it was on a BIN for £299 for months and no-one bought so I offered him £210 and he bit my arm off, kinda makes me wish I'd offered a bit less. Although it's 1:2 it is still producing stunning shots and at last I can take my shots without disturbing the subject.
Example here
I just kept searching everyday for 180mm macro Pentax and eventually this came up. It's built like a tank and quite heavy but I'm loving it so far and with a TC it's still epic. Worth considering as a compromise IMO.
