I don't blame you. They come up occasionally on ebay but it won't come cheap!!

If memory serves, the last two I saw on eBay fetched £700-800 - but I haven't noticed such a listing for quite a few months.
Out of curiosity, I recently asked a dealer about market values and was told a K-mount Sigma 100-300 f4 might fetch "£1100-1200, if we could get hold of one", which gives you an idea about scarcity and perceived demand.
It's obviously worth keeping an eye on dealer websites, but it's the kind of thing that could be snapped up before they've had an opportunity to list it. eBay patience is probably the best option, with an emphasis on "patience".

And the possibility of pentax full frame will push the prices up...

I´m trying to buy it in Spain, but be carefull! If you can, try to test the lens before buy it.
I have tested two copies, and both had back focus. This issue is impossible to solve in this lens, and you will have to send it to a special repair shop and recalibrate the glasses, very expensive process
Good luck!

If you can do without the zoom range the DA* 300mm f/4 would be an easier option.

I sold mine as I found I used the Pentax DA* 60-250mm f4 a lot more than the Sigma. The proceeds from the sale bought me the same lens in Canon mount plus a Sigma 180mm DG EX f3.5 and 1.4x teleconverter (also in Canon mount)
Mad prices they go for but the 100-400mm range is where Pentax really suffers imo.

Hi guys
I know that this lens is very, very difficult to buy.
I'm patient. If I can not buy until April, maybe I will buy DA 300 or S 150-500.
At the moment I'm waiting for proposals.

As has been mentioned if you need the zoom range then the 60-250 is a superb lens. Otherwise the DA*300 is even better.

I got some offers ...
Now I'm waiting for a package.
I think "a bit" too expensive.
Pozdrawiam
