Sorry 50-200, I've been considering the 55-300 thats on offer at Park but not really sure I need to spend another £170 on a telephoto zoom.

just got one from there myself excellent lens ! knocks spots off the 50-200 (had one, got rid quick!) money well spent !!
was £200 ! have they reduced it ?? put it in the list then !!

At £170 it might be the DA-L version.

Yeah its the DA-L version with no hood and a plastic mount but at £100 less than the other one it seems a good deal.
