What about £480 for a new one?

If you are looking for used anyway then the ambiguity of their warranty might not be such an issue. They do ship from US but pay import fees. You need to be aware that they try and upsell with additional cards, batteries etc when they confirm the sale on the phone.

I've read that SLRHut add VAT to the price when you checkout.

I dont think so Phil. I just looked at it and it says that You will not be required to pay any duties, taxes and/or VAT in addition to your order.

Well if you go ahead i'll be interested to hear how you get on and how much it costs in total.
I'd consider buying a second K-3 at £709 all in.

Hi all
I bought a lens off these guys at SLR Hut and it tuned out to be faulty.
This was 9 months ago.............I am now spending money on going legal!
I would not touch them with a barge pole!!!
This was the my first time buying off a GREY retailer, and never again.
Also the parcel was under declared as it showed a value of $23.!!
I have since purchased the 100mm macro from a UK retailer..
Also, it would not be covered in any way by Pentax UK. A repair if one was needed would be carried out by a NON Authorised repairer.
Pentax UK told me that this retailer will not be supported as they do not trade with them.
Support our retailers......not the yankee dollar!!!!

It was under declared at $23 exactly so there is no custom duty to pay, how did you think they achieved no duty fees???

I don't understand why anyone buys lenses from them as there isn't really that much of a saving compared to buying in the UK.

If you ever get to New York on your travels...

Adorama in NYC have had a one day sale for the last ten days. $697 which by my calculations works out about £422. I suppose it gets complicated with taxes and VAT if and when it is brought back here.

Good luck with your search. I'm wondering about one too, although perhaps not just at the moment.

Me too on that, although I am going off SLRHut. I have bought from flash camera and digitalrev in the past and they were good experiences, and there is a good reason to try them, the prices in the UK really are much higher than they offer
