WTB: K200D
Many thanks and best wishes for 2016

Anyone got a clean one ?

I am very surprised at how hard used K200D's are to find.
Pentax hybrid user - Digital K3, film 645 and 35mm SLR and Pentax (&other) lenses adapted to Fuji X and Panasonic L digital
Fan of DA limited and old manual lenses

Thanks to Steve F 's post above it looks like my search of many months may be over as I have spoken to LCE Gloucester and they are going to confirm the sensor is clean and hopefully I will be able to buy it.
I love the CCD sensor.
These are very rare: I don't think they made them for long. Maybe one of the last Pentax DSLRs with a CCD sensor, which I also love ( I use a K10).
I may be wrong, but I always felt the move to CMOS sensors was partly to accommodate video which, ironically, hardly anyone uses. I often wonder how good cameras with CCD sensors would be now, had they been developed in the way that CMOS ones have. We'll never know.
I'm glad you were able to find a K200D and hope you enjoy using it
Best wishes,
Andrew
