WTB: K-x and DA35
Stuart..
as the K7 is a) a bit too expensive to be running around a club with and b) terrible over ISO400.
Yeah it's really bad.

Definitely need that K-x methinks. So, anyone got one going cheap?
Or k100d at ISO 3200...

Ah that'll be why then

I think you will struggle to get a good K-x 'cheap' as they hold their value fiercely well! However, I did notice that on ebay SRS Microsystems had some brand new at £319 including free delivery, kit lens and 2 year warranty. You won't find a good second hand one much cheaper than that.

Was hoping I might be able to get something sub-200 though
Well I can get a used one body-only for £229, which would be fine as I've already got an 18-55 kit lens from my K100D, plus the 18-55 WR I use on my K7.

I would snatch the seller's hand off at £229, assuming it's in good nick and not too many shutter actuations. Is that delivered or extra for delivery?

David
I did consider the body at £229, not too high shutter count either, I'm just not sure I can justify spending such a large chunk of my loan on it... money only came in today! Haha
So yeah, any other offers are still welcome
Also the handling on a k-x is totally different to the semi pro bodies, I preferred the handling on the k-r to the k-x & I thought there was a massive difference between the k-x & k-r both in responsiveness & usability...

I took the K7 out last night and spent the night shooting at 1600; got home with a bunch of poor quality shots - noisy as hell, and absolutely no edge definition whatsoever. Lightroom's NR helped with the noise but the edges were unrecoverable.
I DEFINITELY need something with better low light performance, even just a stop or two. So yeah, last call for a K-x around the £200 mark, or less with a high shutter count
EDIT: Just used this, http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/studiocompare.asp, stick it on RAW @ 1600 and flick between the K7, Kx and the Kr; the K7 looks like a joke in comparison lol.
