Just some short comments: I have owned a FA* 24/2 for some time and I did sell it some time ago. Several rumors state that one of the lens elements might delaminate and thus could cause problems (so be sure to check this). The above is technically true. However, I had one - and totally regret selling it. Around £350 is a good price.

Just want to resurrect this "Want to Buy" - Willing to pay around (perhaps a bit more) the price Rob suggested
It must be a good copy, sharp from f2.0 - as the majority of reviews on "the other site" seem to suggest. I did get hold of a copy last year but it was soft until f4 - but did a beautiful job when stopped down

Frustratingly, SRS sold one around Christmas time for £199.
The Sigma 24/1.8 is a good alternative. I got mine from SRS for £199 and very pleased with it.
