WTB: A fast FA 50mm

Looking for a FA 50mm/1.4 or 50mm/1.7 in mint to good condition. Still regret selling my 50/1.4 to fund the DA 70mm/2.4 purchase from a forum member.

Postage to Sofia, Bulgaria (EU) will be highly appreciated.

I have bought several lenses from forum members and there's been no problem with Royal Airmail delivery up to now.

FA 50/1.4 anyone? Should I resort to *ebay (username same, rating 100%)?

attitude - disappointing

perhaps no-one was selling their lenses....

i'v got a F 50mm f1.7 and do not mind posting to oversea, but it's not in mint condition, so not qualified, a bit high entry level.

I think you'd find most people willing to post to anywhere, I just did not like your suggestion that we were not willing to ship to Bulgaria

No need to get tetchy alexfilipov, nobody said they wouldn't post to your country. Clearly no-one had a lens they wanted to sell, or maybe didn't notice your post.

Apart from geographical location, which I feel is a legitimate concern with the reliability of postal services varying from country to country, I generally feel more confident selling to someone with more of a presence on the forum than just a handful of posts. Although as Mike knows, this isn't any guarantee there aren't going to be problems... That said, I sold some items to you with no problems after we discussed where we stood by pm.

from my POV (i'm form Poland) there is absolutely no problem with shopping in any location over the world

i've done several transactions (bigger than FA 50) in USA, Phillipines, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland and at last but no least UK (thanks Pwynnej ) - always from private sellers

even if they orginally didn't want to sent things abroad (statements in adverts) in 90% situations, i was able to urge them to sent items to Poland - only money is the problem

so, i think, that it's not a problem with attitude of sellers
