More unusual designs for the Pentax K-r
Blend into your surroundings with a camouflaged Pentax K-r.

What environment do the copy writers live in where they think they can get a K-r to "blend in".

I would think a bit of decorum lends a degree of seriousness to what is said to be a fine camera

Camouflaged Pentax or not Camouflaged Pentax ... that's the question.

May be Pentax is going to sell those things in Afganistan.

I do not know where Pentax marketing philosophy aims to go , but It is well known that in current time Pentax Professional target is rappresented by 645D and TeenAge target by Rainbow's K-r.

What's for the rest ?

K-5 is a very good camera but is not what was the LX in more glorious time. It's still missing something.

Just got my KR to replace my KX. Fantastic upgrade.(see my fun pic of my sons dog just posted on gallery)

I particularly like the fact that by ordering it in black from SRS I got a II series standard lens with quick focus and metal bayonet while the white and red models came with the plastic DAL effort I had last time.

I bought my wife an Optio RZ10 the other week for her amusement. She insisted on a purple one. Good little camera as long as you keep below 200 ISO

I gather most exotic coloured models are only for the home market! Keeps them in the news though doesn't it?

I can't help but think the multicoloured cameras are intended to have an opposite effect to camoflage!

If you want really unobtrusive then a black M-series body with the 40mm f2.8 does the trick.
