Good greif absolutely amazing.
Could this negate VR,SR......................
Adobe would make money if they sell this as a stand alone piece of sofware, I would buy it in a heart beat.

I don't think so Brian. I think we'd all prefer our images to be blur free in-camera, unless we purposely wanted them blurred. Now, if it were added to camera firmware to de-blur images in-camera, that would really be something else. Software anti-shake, awesome.

Quite an obvious algorithm use really, surprised it has taken that long, but nonetheless impressive results (prima facia).
I'm sure that future image quality will have as much to owe to mathematicians as to lens designers, probably much more.
All a bit geek central that place.

Excellent, Can't wait for this in Lightroom. Sometimes when grabbing a cool shot there isn't time to carefully set the right settings.
In SR in pentax cams also takes some time to stabilise, and I've had blurred shots from the SR itself because there wasn't time to wait.

It is one of those things which is both obvious but complex.
I think the issue is not to get rid of the shake but to restore as much of the original fidelity as possible.
It won't fix a bad photograph but will be useful for restoring those once-in-a-lifetime shots.

I do a lot of closeups when repairing electronics equipment before dismantling parts of it. I do this, so I can reassemble it again correctly. Some pictures come out blurred, because they are all handheld and often taken with low light.
This software would be just perfect for me.
the sooner the better.

the real problem is when you blur something on purpose then somebody else comes along and de-blurs it... who is responsible?
you shoot a crowd photo for example and somebody does not want to be identified so you blur out a face or licence plate... for example...
does it work on all kinds of blur?

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

I agree before long you will just have to go out point the camera and press the button, come back and focus it then do everything in mega photoshop/lightroom/topaz/gimp/picassa/paintshop probably missed a fewAbsolutely not. Better to learn how to take a sharp photograph.
it will come to the point when you do not even need a camera.
At least it will stop the canikony pentax argument and produce another of which program you use.
Bring it on saves me lying on the ground in an overgrown church yard in Northumberland today trying to photograph mushrooms and an old women who thought she had to call the air ambulance !!
