You risk your life every time you cross a road and nobody tells you not to cross them. And the most dangerous place in a home is the bathtub, but you still use it.
There is some risk in everything we do, but we don't stop doing them to live in a cocoon. I myself enjoy taking some risk while doing some "urban decay" style photography.
Life is not worth living if you don't take some (calculated) risk once in a while.

a very good photo given that it looks like some tricky metering was needed you look to have got the exsposure just right.

I love this type of shot where there is mixed lighting with light streaming in from a door or window. I love the contrast in light and colours.

I like the picture... The differing light at the door from the room you shot in is well handled...
I've lived in worse... Many people still do...
As for having to be rescued... I'm betting more rescues are required for photographers up mountains than in houses...

well I've been shooting derelict/abandoned/disused buildings and similar for 3 years and 7 months and not needed to summon any rescue services. I tend to stick with places/access that I am confident are within my abilities (very limited as they are)

I like the pic. I think the wonky house deserves a set rather than just one pic though.

I really like the scene. Standard accommodation for rural France. The colours are great. The 'journey' through the photo for me is through the first door and then left through the next, so I would prefer more space left and less right.
