Daniel.
and you thought you'd put your own life at risk by going in there?! and the lives of anyone coming to rescue you if needed???????
You risk your life every time you cross a road and nobody tells you not to cross them. And the most dangerous place in a home is the bathtub, but you still use it.
There is some risk in everything we do, but we don't stop doing them to live in a cocoon. I myself enjoy taking some risk while doing some "urban decay" style photography.
Life is not worth living if you don't take some (calculated) risk once in a while.
If anyone would like to do so it'd be appreciated

I love this type of shot where there is mixed lighting with light streaming in from a door or window. I love the contrast in light and colours.

I've lived in worse... Many people still do...
As for having to be rescued... I'm betting more rescues are required for photographers up mountains than in houses...

As for the health and safety police .....
This is an open forum Mike and young and impressionable photographers may look on your photo and be tempted to do the same. With every right comes a responsibility. I will refrain from further comment at your request
Daniel.
Personally I'd encourage people to go and do the same. This is nothing to photographers who risk their lives in war zones. Health and safety gone mad I tell ye
Life is not worth living if you don't take some (calculated) risk once in a while.
Exactly. Although I have to admit I'd draw the line at this insanity ....

I'd say the house was built in the sixties or seventies. Did you sense any ghosts?
