We Are Colony . com are giving away a 'classic Pentax camera and lens' as well as a photographic course in London in a competition.

Its a free competition that closes on the 30th September so only 10 days to go.

Untick the box that says to 'stay up to date with offers' to minimise spam as you need to give them your email address when setting an account up.

After 10 days when the comp closes and I no doubt don't win then I'll mark them as spam and unsubscribe from their emails.

It's a free comp so worth a go as you could win what looks like a ME Super and 50mm

The link is fine for me, but it doesn't say what you have to do for the competition. If it's a draw, they shouldn't call it a competition as a competition depends on the exercise of skill, judgement or knowledge by the participants and does not rely wholly on chance. A draw doesn't.
I suspect the aim of this 'competition' is to create a list of email addresses which can be sold for marketing purposes (i.e. spam them as Gareth seems to suspect) but the spam will come from a variety of sources, not just them, so not easy to filter out.
I'm not suggesting people shouldn't enter it, just to be aware of the potential consequences for doing so. It may be best to use a throw-a-way email address for this just in case.
Anyhow, I've already got an ME and several 50mm lenses!If
If a competition really is involved it would be helpful to know what it is BEFORE you gave them your details.
