Reminds me of those stories about Leicas and Contax suff being swapped by desperate Germans, for British and American army rations, soap and cigarettes, after WW2.
No man is worth his salt, who has not been banned from at least one Forum, and two Flickr groups.

It wasn't just cameras. I remember seeing a collection of seriously rare and valuable Marklin large scale trains on Antiques Roadshow which the owner had obtained in Germany immediately after the war. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd been bartered for a few ration packs.

That is priceless. I have had (very sleepless) nights recently when I wouild have happily swopped my 9 month old son for a 6 pack - but never my Pentax
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more
