Whydid it happen?

Set off for a walk along the canal this morning, all was going well, my wife was prepared to put up with the camera and I intended filling my memory card.

Just ten shots into the walk I decided to change lens to get some duck shots when my viewing screen came out with the lens.

Fortunately nothing was lost, but I had to wait 'till I got home before I could replace it in the camera.

Still, I had my P30 with me so I had to use that, although it'll be a while before I get the film developed.

Has anybody else had this happen?
Cheers, HG

Had you removed it recently or could you have inadvertently nudged it with a blower? TBH, though, if it had been even slighly incorrectly seated I would have thought it would have been apparent in the viewfinder. Worrying and you were lucky it wasn't damaged.

Yes it happened to me a while ago but it was more than likely my fault as I had had the sceen out for cleaning a few days previously.

If I'd cleaned the screen I could understand it, I've not touched this one, but have had the K110 one out and back with no trouble.
