Why not...

For the moderators, and of course anyone who wants to comment.

Could we please have a sub-forum specifically for Pentax DSLR cameras? I've wondered this from when the *istD came out. I've always been frustrated when I'm specifically looking at DSLR posts and have to switch in between the "SLR" and "Digital" sub-forums.

It would also take care of the K10D and the new MF digital.

Other than that of course, it's the most easy going trouble free site in the www photography world as far as I have found.

A big thanks to everyone who makes it that.

I always imagined that was what the "Digital Photography" section was for.

As George rightly says, the "Digital Photography" is the place to post
In fact, there would be practically nothing in that section if you took out DSLR topics!

Yes, I understand this, but a lot seem to put their thoughts in the normal SLR section. Perhaps it could be defined a bit more or something to clarify that DSLRs should indeed go into digital.

Just a thought.

Perhaps the answer is to redefine the SLR section as Pentax Film Cameras.

Or maybe the time has come to split Digital Photography into Pentax DSLRs and Digital Processing.

Philip,
As moderator, I'll move the most recent ones from SLR into digital...

I must admit that as a new member I had always assumed that SLR in this case included DSLR since there was no DSLR forum. Perhaps the forum names could be re-worded to remove the ambiguity?

All sorted

You should notice the new look Pentax User Forum - the administrators have created clear "Digital" and "Film" sections. Hopefully this should be much clearer where to post.

I'm in the process of shifting around the topics, so you should get the general idea!

Hmmm, now where should I post about a right-angle finder...

It wasn't me that did it I just forwarded the suggestion to the admin staff at Pentax User / ePhotozine.
I agree - it's a great update to a great site! I'm just shifting topics around
Thank them

Yep looks pretty logical to me! Wonder how logical it looks after a wee dram of the good stuff!

I'm confused.
This is the same site where I go to annoy a bunch of pentax guys right?
I got the same feeling of disorientation I had that time I came home and went to the neighbours house by mistake.
Some people keep thier toilet paper in the weirdest places.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
