Why ?.

Why have people invested into a system like pentax and then sell of all there kit and change to another brand ? . Also has any one had another kit from another brand and changed to Pentax ? . Im just curious to find out the reasons why, good luck with your choice. Ian

In the 1970s Asahi licensed its use to a wide variety of manufacturers, but of course Canon, Nikon and Minolta would never have taken it up.

And of course its predecessor the M42 screw mount was quite widely used too. My first SLR was a Praktica Super TL and it was partly because of the compatibility of lenses that I moved on to Pentax.
