Hand held, 1/3 s. Who'd have a camera without SR these days?

There's a little noise as you'd expect at ISO 800, but you can't have everything. There's a ton more detail in the full size version.

Very nice. And you were on a pedalo, you say?

I'm trying to place it. It doesn't look like London.

Looks like Melbourn, that is the train station with the 'hexa-dome' roof.

I loved Melbourn when I was there is 1996. Also went to Sidney but only for 3 days compared to 2 months in Melbourn. Thankfully it was the middle of winter and all the deadly creatures were hibernating.

It does get rather cold though, and windy being exposed to the Antarctic.

You taking a trip along the great ocean road?

How about Phillip island?

Correct!!

Melbourne it is. And the long orange building (it really is orange, too) with the dome is indeed Flinders Street Station.

We did. It was beautiful - there'll be a few more photos eventually when I get a chance to fish the decent ones out of the 1100 I took in the four weeks we were out there.

Didn't have time for Phillip Island, sadly. Need to go back.

There was a really good Thai restaurant, seems it is still there:

Lanna Thai
287 Exhibition St, Melbourne, VIC 3000, Australia

I really want to go back but in spring or autumn so it isn't too hot or too cold.
