Hopefully, as we really enjoy Whitby anyway and the Goth weekend is a bonus.
Best regards, John

I'll be there in the usual Steampunk attire, Mrs Spider will no doubt have something different

Sorry to say that missus and I will miss it this time. We have only just come back from a couple of weeks there.

I'm hoping to get there either Saturday or Sunday and if I can get there will definitely be at the base of the abbey steps at 10am on either day. Some serious major health issues with mrs K10D going on at the moment so even planning a week ahead is tentative.

Best wishes to Mrs K10D. I hope everything is back to normal soon, and that in the meantime you can make it to Whitby.
Never been, and I am not going to make it this year either.

Pass on my best wishes to the missus too Gary, Looking after her is far more important than a few snaps, and there's always April

We may also have another annual event developing, a Steampunk Market along with evening entertainment has been organised for February at the Spa, give it a couple of years and it may become as big as WGW

The weather looks to be bad on Saturday but acceptable on Sunday. I'm still looking to try for Sunday as my youngest is here for the weekend. So IF I do make it for a while, I;ll still be at the base of the abbey steps at 10am just in case anyone wants to throw a few veggies or rotten cabbage in my direction.

If I don't get there, then to those that do, have a good weekend and enjoy the atmosphere, people, event and take plenty of shots.

Weather now looking bad for tomorrow.

It doesn't matter. I'll be there for 7am to see what if any sunrise happens, then breakfast at the Whistlestop and spend a few hours around the town square area. I'll look out for any Pentax users (with or without umbrellas) at the usual meeting point at the bottom of the abbey steps at 10am.

It's unlikely you'll bump into me Gary, I think we'll be spending most if not all of the day browsing the markets at the leisure centre and spa, too cold to be promenading around the old town at my age, we did a couple of hours of that today and I'm just about thawing out

A good plan Alan. Weather was impressive to say the least.
