Came across a small set of forgotten images from 2012 on an old SD card at the weekend.

This one had a certain minimalist appeal but I just can not make my mind up on the processing. So, as I am used to multi variant testing (MVT) in my work life - I thought I would see what the consensus of opinion was.

I would be interested to hear which (if any) you prefer and why.

Just for info - number 1 is virtually a straight conversion of the original

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Maybe I have an untrained eye but apart from what looks like a very slight difference in exposure I can see no difference. There is no extra detail in any of them that I can see. They all look quite good to me. The only thing I can see wrong is that the horizon is a tad low on the right. CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

Very subtle, but I prefer the first, it has slightly better texture.

Apologies - I should have said - the main differences are exposure adjustments predominantly to the top half of the image.

#1 for me, prefer the brighter sky, seems to lift the whole image.

#1 for me too.
I found Michael Freeman's book "The Photographer's Eye" is very helpful in identifying and evaluating the 'feel' of an image.
#1 has dynamics where your eye is drawn from the near field, down the row, and is naturally pulled into the horizon by the brightness of the upper layer.
The other images "stall" as your eye is drawn from the near field, partway up the frame, and feels like it goes nowhere.

But that's just my opinion

No 1 for me too! The brightness of the upper half just gifts the whole image a lift IMO
