SIMPLE!!!!!Very simple question,

You are having a laugh?
THis will be one of those threads that gets ressurected in about three or four years time when I've given it a bit of thought

Well I said the question was simple not the answer
Let's say you can use the photos that come to mind, so not the best is needed.
Is that better

A photo did not do it justice. But walking into a NASA hanger and being confronted by the business end of a Saturn 5 is an image that will live with me forever.

I have a slide, a close up of my little boy taking his first breath of air during a c-section...
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Yeah Don, not fair... I don't even have kids
To go for a bit more general route.

Pretty much impossible!
In terms of the sorts of photographs I would like to take, one of them would be Edward Steichen's photograph of the Flat Iron building in New York. I have a framed poster of that one up in my bedroom.
Cheers, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

A picture of a Japanese fighter crashing into the deck of my fathers aircraft carrier, I'm not sure what impressed me the most the image or the fact that he stuck around long enough to take the picture.

Me too - wish I'd been there when they launched a Saturn V.

The photo that leave the deepest impression on me is of my son, taken about two years before he died of alcohol abuse.
He was an alcoholic, and the photo taken with a mobile shows him just before he started to completely "loose it"
Sorry if this upsets any one, but his death made me take up photography before i intended.

In my case, it was a painting not a photo:
Caravaggio - The Taking of Christ
This hung in the National Gallery of Ireland, after it had been found and cleaned. It was in a medium sized room, with a Picasso on the opposite wall. The Picasso was absolutely stunning, but on turning round, there was the Caravaggio. I know that I stopped breathing for a time. The memory will be with me for ever.

which photo has left the deepest impression on you?
The kind of impression doesn't matter.
If you would be so kind to share it with us with some comment,
and maybe a photo to show us that would be great.
