BJP Monthly, the others are just enthusiast froth with sprinkles of interest. (and I borrow copies of the RPS magazines).
Above all, I get my photographic roughage from Pentax User..... cough ... cough (that's a free PU sub please ed)

Amateur Photographer, by subscription for many years.
Full of interesting photography related articles, good photographic information, good balanced camera and photographic equipment reviews/tests.
Possibly the only photographic magazine standing up/fighting for photographers rights.
Just the amount of advertising necessary to keep this fine long running publication viable.
Take care.

And the ones in cellophane .. you sniff them? (you asked about the SOH?) [ I was going to be really sleazy but held back]

I tried reading Pentax User and they stopped it. I'm one for free reads, those wrappers are annoying though.
Outdoor Photography for me. It only usually has one camera review, the rest is all about getting out and taking photos, bliss!

Magazines tend to recycle at regular intervals so at the moment I'm down to AP for its adverts and some general information that doesn't always get noticed on the web.
It's a shame because in the past there have been some great magazines, but none have survived.

I like Practical Photoshop the video lessons are interesting, and then it just depends on the cover story when I browse the mag rack in ASDA. Most of the magazines seem to have the same content so usually I buy the cheapest. Enjoy the articles ads and like to compare prices with the 2nd hand stuff on the forum and stores like Ffordes

English photography magazines are ridiculously expensive here, and the Dutch ones are not very good, so I don't buy/read any of them
I have a subscription to Photoshop Elements User magazine, and used to subscribe to PU.

Read AP, Practical Photography and Photo Answers up to about 12 years ago. Apart from ads and photoshop tutorials I don't think there's much new. I did buy a photoshop mag in WH Smiths about 4 months ago, but the disc with it wouldn't work in the pc.
So, one mag in 12 years

I read AP most weeks but I also subscribe to Black and White Photography which I like a great deal- I like mono but it is a great read anyway.
I took out a subscription to Digital Camera last year when I got my K5 but I won't be renewing it - it often seems to carry duplicate articles far too frequently and sometimes reads like a Nikon press release.
I have read just about every other one at some time this year and might pick and choose depending on the likely content. BJP carries some in depth articles- I prefer articles about real photographers rather than padded out guides on photoshop techniques and "how to" guides. The internet has all that stuff covered a thousand fold.

I have tended to favour Digital Photo recently but was wondering what magazines other forum members read and why?
