Which is best lens cleaning cloth ?

I have a few specs of dust on my lens/filter which I want to remove.
A friend of mine has a cloth with a rubbery feel to it which he bought at Jessops,
With all the experiences here, which cloth would you recommend?
Please can you supply links where possible.

Thanks in advance.

Dust is best blown or brushed off rather than wiped off with a cloth. You should have a bulb blower and a brush made for lenses or sensors.

Wiping dust with a cloth can cause scratching because some of the "dust" particles may in fact be tiny bits of grit that are harder than glass. With a cloth, there's a good chance of making the lens dirtier than it was to start with anyway.

Pentax microfibre cloths are relatively good for greasy marks. See www.pentaxuser.co.uk/pages/pl_2007.html .

A Lens Pen is handy to have as well.
