I would imagine that the results with any of them will be pretty dire, I'm afraid.

When does wide angle become fish eye? Presumable a normal DSLR would get away with a shorter focal length than a full frame camera
More specifically, what is the widest wide angle that still gives a "normal" perspective? I have seen lenses with similar focal lengths described as wide angle and as fish eye. If I remember correctly it was 10mm.
Or is it more complicated than that?

I have such an attachment:it was given to me on a Pentax Club trip years ago by a lady with a Canon T70 - it has a 52mm filter thread which fits the 18-55mm Pentax kit kens on my K10D. It is a'Sunagor Super Wider Semi Fish-eye' Here is one which made the Romford Recorder newspaper last week with a story about a girls'soccer team that was going to be turned off their pitch because residents in the houses behind didn't like the noise!

Been thinking about buying a fisheye lens attachment to try out some creative photography on a budget. Anyone out there have any experience of using one, and have any recommendations ? Are there any manufactures I should avoid ?
Plan to use it on the K10D with 16-45mm.
Cheers,

I have two of these! I can't tell much difference between them and don't have them to hand so can't tell you the make. They are fun, but the picture quality is not the best - distortion towards the edge of the field and some obvious CA. However, mine have a macro attachment which makes for some very interesting closeup shots! I think the magnification on mine is 0.45.Been thinking about buying a fisheye lens attachment to try out some creative photography on a budget.
