Dear all,
I finally bought the Sigma macro ring flash to accompany the 105mm Sigma macro lens.

I have a large backpack, I have a one shoulder backpack and I have a medium size shoulder bag.

When macro lens and ring flash are attached to the k20, the whole kit extends in height so it does not fit in my shoulder bag, unless I remove the "top part" of the flash.

Any advice please ? I researched on the forum and on Google, but it seems that this topic is not discussed....

thank you in advance

Have a measure, then look at bag manufacturer's websites. Some of the Billingham bags are relatively tall.

Look around the various makers websites - narrow it down to a few possibilities then go into a bricks and mortar store with all your gear and try it in a few bags .

You should then know which bag you will need to buy - then buy it

I know this doesn't answer your question, but faced with the same problem I just carry the camera body, lens and macro flash as three separate items in a back-pack until I arrive wherever it is I'll be using them, then set them up and carry them by hand/on a strap.

Personally I think carrying the three items assembled in a bag is risking disaster given that the flash is attached to the lens. If the bag gets knocked...(Or maybe that's just me )
