Where are all the good lenses??

Has anyone of you ever touched a FA* 250-600 F5.6. I had the opportunity of shooting a few shots with it on my K10D. My goodness... magic; no; better than magic! It is like holding the world cup in your own hands. Sadly it is out of production. Are we gonna see the DA* version...? And when???

2x K10D bodies, 2x FA 28-200 3.8-5.6, DA 18-55, A 50 F2, 50mm Macro, 360 FGZ. Still saving for the 60-250 DA* Also have a Z10 35mm and a K1000 just for fun. IF PENTAX IS THE ANSWER, WHO CARES WHAT THE QUESTION IS...!

I am lucky enough to own the Pentax FA*600mm F4 - I know the feeling...
