whats the deal with the Shake reduction

To ChrisA. Hi. Unless your Operating Manual is different to mine S.R. Function is on page 68 not 48. Just so no one gets confused. Anyone know if there were/are different editions? CHEERS Vic.

I thought SilverJON's explanation/desciption was spot on!
I certainly have to get a better computer monitor - I have a 19" wide with 1440 x 900 resolution and IMHO it's not good enough.
As for the colours, when I ran the Adobe gamma set up I was shocked! The monitor runs hugely into the blue by default. I guess this makes them look 'brighter' in the shop?

It's certainly page 48 in the version I downloaded.
Sure you're not looking in the K10D manual? (It's p68 in there )

Sorry Chris You are of course correct I had forgotten it all started with the K100 and as you said I was looking in the K10 manual. I'll consider my wrist slapped OK.... CHEERS Vic
