as that's the same as the Pentax DA 12-24 (?) 2nd hand prices are around the £550 mark at present for them, Samsung branded lenses usually go for slightly less than the Pentax versions, so anything under £450 and you've got a bargain. I think it was about £550 new a couple of years ago, so if someone was ignorant of the 2nd hand market and the recent prices on new ones, they'd probably take £350, in which case laugh all the way to the bank...
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

Thanks for the info Mike but have you got a little confused between Samsung & Sigma You'll have to stop watching those England games, mess with your head !!Remember also that the Sigma is FF compatable whereas the Pentax 12-24mm is not.
No use atm but it maybe one day.
Also, remember to give it a good tryout as (like the 10-20mm) there were quite a few duff ones (very soft at the edges)

If they paid around £400-500 for one I think they'd be glad for around £400, but start with £350.
