2.Centre of CD case and
last years cotton wool buds.

No 5 looks like salt rather than sugar, but there are thousands of compounds it could be if not restricted to everyday household items.

5 is salt - I've never been in any doubt Possibly Rock salt

Thanks for confirmation about # 2 - it was in my mind but I wasn't 100% convinced

How about 3 and 4 ?

Yep, 5 is granulated sugar on a dvd.

How about a few clues.
3. You just need to suck it and see.
