No 5 looks like salt rather than sugar, but there are thousands of compounds it could be if not restricted to everyday household items.

5 is salt - I've never been in any doubt Possibly Rock salt

Yep, 5 is granulated sugar on a dvd.
How about a few clues.

For me the most visually attractive is #2, the centre of a CD case.
