What in the world is this "thing"?
This is the second time that Iran has made a strange scientific claim. Four years ago Iran claimed to have invented a 'super-modern' radar-evading flying boat."

I think it's the boat. LOL

Banned as they are the neighbours launched a few at new Year. I just hope they didn't come down on anyone's thatch. They are banned because they are a fire hazard, a danger to aircraft and a danger to animals once they burn out and land - small pieces of wire are left which cows and sheep can, and do ingest.
My bet is still a weather balloon or other scientific balloon - the lab I worked at used to launch them for studying the Ionosphere. I believe they were designed so they became a parachute on the way back down so the equipment could be recovered.
Though since it seems to have a halo maybe it is an angel .

I was taking photos of the airplanes that flew past us overhead, I live in Ealing, West London so Heathrow isn't that far. Then I noticed this "thing" in the sky and when I tried taking a photo of it, upon inspection, could not think what exactly it is.
Here's what I'm talking about:
I shot a few photos and this thing changed sizes and eventually disappeared in the sky. Could it have been a:
1. Satellite?
2. Space station?
3. Celestial body?
4. UFO?
5. Military drone?
6. That big camera in the sky we always thought didn't exist. But hey.
Looking forward to your ideas and hoping someone at the very least enlighten me on this "thing".
