Wetland Walk.

Yesterday's walk I heard then saw dozens of these Toads, which I believe are Common Toads. All very busy mating, sounds varied between typical croaking frog-like to an almost bird-like call/squeak. KP and DA* 300 f4 and TC 1.4 WR.

This fella is looking lonely amongst the rest;

Freshly cut logs are part of a scheme to loosely dam the stream to slow the water especially in the coming summer, funded I believe by a grant from the Government.

Admittedly they were preoccupied but you got some great shots of them.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
