Wet feet

good evening, i now own my pentax optio wx50 for one and half year. i bought it for my internship on an offshore vessel because it works with wet feet. During my intership i have made some nice photos.

I joined the forum to share my experiance and to get rid off my own question marks.

thank you, because only a view see these amazing world i would like to make even better photos to share them, i am now looking for an SLR to make even better pictures, when i came back i started to compare my photo´s on flickr with other photos and i started to annoy myself to the boundaries of the pixels with an regular compact camera, but with my student income it will take a while before buying.

Megapixels aren't everything.

I would happily drop a few if I got the chance to take some of the photos on your flickr

Perhaps picking up a second hand weatherproof body would be a good start - look at the Classified Ads section of the forum and see if there's a K10D or K20D at the right price.

The WR 18-55mm lens is available at quite a low price new from www.srsmicrosystems.co.uk and that would suit you well to start off with.
