Thanks John. I'll try to restrict my number of images in the future. I tend to shoot in sets, that's all.

I've just looked looked through your gallery and it a great set of images, shows the area very well. The summer lighting wasn't a great help on one or two but it's pretty much unavoidable unless you want to get up at 4am and then there's still a chance of the haze messing things up.

The gate latch on the slate #6 is especially striking. I see you have a reputation for this type of image. I think that photography is the best medium to capture and enhance the textures in the world about us. Good job.
I see the king of the rust objects is still on top form, it's strange how a rust piece of metal belted into a bit of slate/granite can look so good in isolation, nice one. I quite like the tree & mountain shot no. 4 with the tree leaning to the left and the mountain balancing it out to the right & No 10 a very atmospheric image.
