I've some gallerieshere CLICKY LINK! and my PPG entries.
Just ban all digital prints that have been 'tweaked', that'll reduce entries by 60 per cent as canikony user HAVE to adjust everything and give Pentax users a much better chance.

All photos are banned then, I doubt they would like it if you send a text file with ones and zeros claiming to be an image

For many years, all entries were a nominal amount (rising from 1 groat to 20p due to inflation), and the prizes were equally nominal. In the last few years, they have started getting swamped with entries in one particular catagory. No, not giant marrows or the worlds biggest dahlia, but (...you guessed it...), photographs.
It got to the point that the judges complained they simply couldn't cope with the number of entries they were getting. So, in an effort to discourage people from entering, the committee decided to increase the costs of entering the photography catagories three-fold, whilst not increasing the prize fund to match.
The result?
The number of entries doubled!
It now takes for one of the shows 70 man-hours just to rough-sort the entries and discard the bulk of them, then carefully mount the short-list, and finally to judge the winners. Compared to approximately 7 minutes to judge the more traditional areas of vicious local competition and skull-duggery like victoria sponges...
