weird stuff

So, I upgraded from my K-r to a K-5 today at the local camera store. It was in the box sealed and wrapped nicely, of course, body only, and I couldn't wait to get it home to charge up the battery. So once it's charged, I insert the battery and do the set-up menu thing. Much to my surprise, the camera's clock is already perfectly set to the correct time! WTF? Aw damn!, I say to myself. They sold me a used camera! But I snap a few shots and upload the files to the PHOTOME and it says only 11 shutter releases on it. So, whatever. Weird stuff, but I guess the PHOTOME site doesn't lie. hmmmmmmm

Pentax K-5, Tamron 17-50, Tamron 70-300, Metz 50 AF-1 flash, and working on buying more lenses in the future. It never ends.

Given the issues with the K-5 on release, there may have been dime QC?
