Dirk - thanks very much for your comments - not just on my photo but for all of them. With regards to Agama - He is about 10 inches long and when photographed was about 5ft up a palm tree. Will try and get him to hold a tape measure next time .
Gwyn - a worthy winner - so what will it be this week?

Congratulations to all the winners this round. It was a joy looking at all the entries, because they give a very good impression of the high standard of photography available with us forum members and Pentax owners.
@ Gwyn: a very well deserved First place( my personal choice also )
@ Dirk: Yes ..... It is my birth year. To answer your other questions; I always work in Pro Photo RGB. Only for web use i convert to sRGB. This picture was converted at a time i found the option ''Save for Web'', in PC CS convenient.(i did not know better ) Now i work with L.R. and CS 3. And use other more sofisticated ways to resize for the web. That probably explaines for the 5% highlights. And the Dewdrops are just that. Drops of dew i.e. a mixture of water and : : (you tell me )
Great judging on your part, this round. Thanks for the more than pleasant comments and compliments. And a very BIG hoereeee for all the entries

I didn't shoot JPEG or get rid of the RAW. I was just pleased with what I did in camera (spent a month without my PC!). I couldn't get anything similar in lightroom, the sky kept going odd and uneven colours. The sun is better in the RAW image though as it has a higher DR.
Congratulations Gwyn, looking forward to the next competition.

Congratulations Gwyn
And Congratulations to you too Dirk - well thought-out and detailed judging fantastic job.
I'm working away from home, in Shetland this week, so I don't have access to the original landscape, but when I get back I'll post the original and give you more details.
I love the 10-17mm, I took it and the A-50mm f1:1.4 with me to Shetland, spent a couple of hours walking round Lerwick this evening, may post a few when I get home.

Congrats Gwyn on your win.
Thank you Dirk for your comments (although none of them were positive ). The lens arrangement was half mine and half Unlocker's - my 18-55mm on his macro tubes!
I understand that photography and competition entries are personal. What one person likes and thinks is their best, another will not entirely agree. I love my entry so much it is my desktop wallpaper on my laptop.
Onwards and upwards as they say!

Fiona,
First at all I apologize for trust in my memory an fall in a deep mistake with your first name.
Using the macro lens as you do (50% yours and 50% Unlocker´s) is like to be married two times with the husband…
Best regards.
