Quite a tricky subject I have decided, particularly when the lighting outside is flat, dark grey

Yes, I wanted to add a new image, and the only way I could do that was to delete it. Is that not allowed?

Perhaps you could slip your original entry back in and submit your VW version under the Your Photos section for comment.
Obviously the competition is intended to be as light hearted as possible, but it was felt that if people changed their entries, it might be because thay had been influenced by other submissions.

Hyram is correct with the reasoning. The idea is we have one shot at submitting an entry and then we sit, wait and watch...

Now, did you pick David as the winner as he promised to get the drinks in ?
My entry was scupered when I didn't make it back home by midnight due to a cancelled train. Oh well, having seen the other entries, and the winner, I doubt it would have made a difference to the result.
