This is the place for questions or discussion on this week's competition.

I have been asked, very sensibly, whether a pair of images could be entered into the competition - one with the image and one to show the setup used.

Great idea, but my rubric for the comp was "I will be judging based on both the image itself AND on your explanation of the lesson of the image in the adjacent 'comments' box. Taken together these should offer a clear, easily digestible package to help other photographers improve. "

So it has to be a single image, I'm afraid.

Though having said that, I'd *love* to see more sets of images on the site specifically designed to help us learn

Sorry I won't be entering this, or the monthly competitions because of developing eyesight problem. If I won I would not be able to judge the entries in any competition I set.

Sorry to hear that Stan, I hope that some improvement will be possible in the future.

Thanks John,

I have a cataract on what was my "best" eye which isn't bad enough yet for treatment. I can still use my camera and listen for the "beep" or watch for the green lozenge but for judging images, apart from content it's a no go. For the moment it won't stop me putting images on the gallery and I just increase the font size ( Ctrl & + ) while reading the threads. Does make PP a bit more difficult though.
