Same here truly grey and rather than the promised snow which would be bad we have drizzle, heavy damping drizzle.

Your drizzle might possibly help to soften my ice

I had to chip some away so I could open my gates to get the car out - the roads have been well treated here - but my back yard is solid ice !!

I've a K-x screaming to be used and I can't get it out in these conditions .

And there was me looking enviously at all that wonderful snow you lot were having!

I guess the grass is always greener.

Though one thing is for sure, the beer (and I am speaking as someone who loves the stuff) available in Britain is definitely better than that here.

And Mike, as far as I'm concerned it just starts getting tasty at 4%!

Not sure why they were charging so much for Three Coins in Negombo - that's usually the cheapest one in our supermarkets.

The snow seems to be returning - must dash tea on the table!

Just back from a trip north over the New Year.

Not sure how long we'll be here for - a few years probably.

Possibly with a Sigma 50 f2.8 macro and I draw you attention to the classifieds where there is one for sale. My allsorts shot and few others were taken with this lens which I bought used last week. Nice lens but sadly not small.
