That counts me out of this weeks competition as there are not any boarded up shop windows here in Qatar....
seems a bit of a restrictive subject IMHO......would perhaps be better suited to a fortnightly competition as I dont think many people will have an appropriate image on their hard drive.....

In the absence of clarification, read the brief very carefully and then do the best you can. That's all I have done and it's my best suggestion!

The brief does include the line "Please submit your own interpretation of this particular theme.". Sooo I guess there is a little leeway, otherwise I'm struggling.

Difficult subject but an excellent winner, worth the comp to see Brian's image. Pretty good for a talking dog! Love the reflection of the scene she's drawing. (dup post from comp)

You are not looking for a highly decorated shopfront but one where either there is no shop left and the boarded up shop has been decoratively painted or one where part of the shopfront has been infilled and decoratively painted ?
