Here is the discussion thread for the weekly competition "Curved Surface".

As is traditional I will stop looking at this thread once the first entry is submitted.

Good luck and have fun,

Can you submit a photo that you've already used once or is that cheap

I don't think there are any rules about this. I think I have seen a few pictures that have appeared more than once.

If you think it fits the subject then its fine with me and I'm the judge .

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Mind you Kris, I didn't even enter last week, as it turned out.

It would be nice if people did not add comments below entries in the current Weekly Competition

Feeling chilly your emperorship

I agree though comments should not be made and I am sure JR will remedy and FWIW I don't agree with the comment. There's plenty going on in there although I think I would have chosen a square crop losing the right edge.

Thanks Mike - I was feeling a bit irritated at the end of a lousy day at work

I could not really decide on the crop and liking the mass of completely over the top curves, left the image almost uncropped.

I agree the mass of curves seems to work well. Those older cars had such style and as you say are so over the top.

We're not supposed to, I'll have a look now. The point is that there should be no influence, albeit unintentional, on the judging.
Best regards, John
