Close up ...
Having read your description, I have some possibles. I would class them as close up - but they were taken at 135mm and 300mm.

It doesn't matter what lens you use, it's close up subjects, not necessarilt actually being close ourselves. A picture of a brid could be a close up on the bird, even if shot from quite some distance.

Well nature isn't one of my usual subjects but it has given me an opportunity to use my extension tubes for, I think, the second time in about twenty years.

Close up is relative though ... The picture was taken at135mm and probably from about 4 metres or so! That was close enough as there was only fresh air between me and the rhino!
